Self Involvement means be involved at the level of “Self”, to care about one’s self, to care about what you are feeling. You care enough about yourself so that your empowerment matters to you. You realize that you have created every experience you are having or have had in the past. Sometimes the “others” in our lives matter more to you, than you matter to yourself. When you are involved with “self” you pay attention to what you are feeling and your empowerment and choose to act from a place of empowerment. You are then able to balance the caring for others and caring for self. For you can care for yourself and others at the same time. You do not have to sacrifice yourself, your empowerment in order to care for others.
Giving yourself permission to care for yourself and about how you feel is another step towards you experiencing your own self empowerment.
